Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Operations Coordinator with 5+ years of construction experience, including permitting, engineering coordination, and due diligence. Experience in masonry construction is strongly preferred. This role blends administrative, operational, and in-field responsibilities to support projects from pre-construction through handoff. Candidates must demonstrate strong tenure (1+ years at previous companies).


Key Responsibilities

Due Diligence & Pre-Construction

  • Coordinate and track engineering, permitting, municipal reviews, and required technical reports.
  • Liaise between consultants, clients, sales, operations, and project managers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure milestone deadlines are met.

Field & Client Coordination

  • Conduct jobsite visits for documentation, data collection, or inspections.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings, walkthroughs, and municipal appointments.
  • Manage permit pickups, payments, and administrative field needs across LA County.

Administrative & Financial Support

  • Assist with invoices, billing, change orders, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Support compliance documentation and internal project tracking systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years construction industry experience (permitting, engineering coordination, municipal processes).
  • Masonry construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated tenure of 1+ years at previous employers.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and office software.
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation.
